Kremlin says shareholders to decide on future of Nord Streams

MOSCOW, Mar 6 (PRIME) -- A decision on the future of the Nord Stream gas pipelines must be made by the shareholders, presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov said on Monday.

"You should address the question to Gazprom that is the shareholder of the international project. Of course, this decision must be made collectively, by all the shareholders. You see, this is an international project," Peskov said.

Media reported earlier citing sources that there were plans to preserve the underwater pipelines rather than to repair them after blasts that ruined them in 2022.
